We will board one of Clayton Island Boats for a tour of the famous Boldt Castle located on Heart Island where a wonderful love story awaits. Be sure to stop @ the mini-theater on the first floor before you explore the 129 room Castle built in 1904 by George Boldt for his wife Louise & also enjoy the lovely landscaped gardens.  Afterwards, visit the Boldt Castle Yacht House on Wellesley Island. The Boldt’s family yachts and enormous houseboat were housed here in the slips 128 feet long.  The Yacht House also features a 1892 Steam Yacht.  In the late 1800’s just before the dawn of the  gasoline era,  many private yachts navigated the waters of the St. Lawrence and many of the lakes in the region, including the Great Lakes. After touring the Yacht House we will board the boat return to the Mainland. There will be time for shopping & dinner on your own in downtown Clayton before we check into our hotel for 2 nights.
