Come & join us as we travel to LaGrange, Georgia and go back in time to visit a museum of how daily life was in Biblical Times. You will enjoy a four-course meal that consists of 15 food items that features recipes, manners and customs of a First Century meal in a room decorated as in the Herodian Period. The time tunnel will walk you through 2000 years. The Biblical Life Artifacts Gallery is an amazing opportunity to peer back across the ages with 250 artifacts from the National Treasures of Israel that are exhibited in life-like settings: Life of a Shepherd, Life of a Farmer, Old Testament Period Tomb, New Testament Period Tomb, Old Testament Period House, New Testament Period House, Life of the Fisherman and the Undersea Ship Disaster Exhibit. We will return to Greenwood in the early evening. (The tour leaves from Greenwood with a pickup in Abbeville.) You will tour Callaway Plantation & The Washington Historical Museum. Lunch is included @ a local restaurant. Today, our journey takes us through a section of the SC Heritage Corridor with several adventures visiting the small towns along the way. Lunch is included @ Miller’s Bread Basket, run by a Mennonite family. You will enjoy the Pennsylvania Dutch meal with a southern touch. We will visit the artesian wells of Healing Springs that is said to have healing qualities. Listen as the stories are told why people come from near & far to visit the springs. A great day getting to know the history of the area driving the countryside of South Carolina.

A one of a kind experience is in store for you today that is educational & fun!
Our destination will be picturesque Wadmalaw Island in the heart of the low country, the
home of the Charleston Tea Plantation. See the beauty and charm as you stroll under the Grand Oaks while viewing acres of breathtaking tea plants (Camellia sinensis) as far as the eye can see. During the Factory Tour, you will learn first hand how tea is made. The Trolley Tour takes you through the tea fields. Help yourself to all the iced or hot tea you can drink! You will enjoy a delicious lunch @ Tomato Shed Cafe. This afternoon, we travel over to the Winery & watch a video on the history of Irvin House Vineyards. You can taste all 5 of the varietals and receive a complimentary wine glass to remember your time @ the vineyard. Stroll around the vineyard on a self- guided tour. We will return home after spending a wonderful day in the heart of South Carolina’s Lowcountry and visiting some of America’s greatest treasures!

We will travel on to The Holiday Festival of Light on James Island, where millions of multicolored lights illuminate the sky. After the driving tour, we will stop @ Santa’s Village to visit the gift shop, see the holiday train, handmade gingerbread houses, Victorian carousel & more.
